Beachcomber Shandrani Resort & Spa Reviews
“This resort is very close to the airport so it can be quiet noisy as aircrafts will be flying over you, but apart from the noise it gives you a great view. If you are into photography and aviation, you’ll be able to take some gorgeous pictures. The resort is very pretty, you’ll see the gorgeous pool as soon as you enter the resort. It has a few beaches, I personally prefer the one where when you enter you go to the right and walk a bit. You will see all of the water sports are there. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, the lunch and dinner depends what you like. They have a lot of dishes with curry which I am not a big fan of, but they had some other things as well so you will find something for your taste. Desserts are great and the coconut ice cream
is delicious. The rooms are big and spacious and the balconies offer amazing view of the resort. If your suitcase is really heavy ask for a room on the ground floor as you will have to carry your case up the stairs otherwise. There is a nice small
bar where you can go for some drinks and there is a band playing so you can throw in some moves as well. It’s a very nice place to stay if you just want to relax.” –LenaCat90
“We stayed there 3 nights at superior rooms facing the sea. It was a marvelous stay. The lobby great, the pool, polite and helpful staff at reception ( Daveena served us very well) , at the restaurant and in the rooms, everybody tried to make us feel comfortable, the porters as well. The rooms we had are very spacious with all necessary amenities and the veranda facing the sea amazing. The breakfast and buffet dinner was more than OK with many choices, we loved the Indian dishes and all the international ones as well, full variety! We took part in the bottom glass small cruise and enjoyed it as well. Extraordinary gardens. Nice entertainment with live music almost every night, pity we missed the sega night that was in our departure day.” –DANOS S
“I was amazed by this place. From the staff, to the rooms, to the facilities. I was so impressed by the location and its surroundings. The staff welcomed us like royalty, and were driven to our rooms. The rooms were at a perfect standard and I would not change anything about this place. The food was perfect, I felt healthy after every meal and the water sports was a real bonus to the holiday. I will be coming back.” –Robert P
